Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

I added quite a bit to this costume! I bought an Airsoft gun very similar to the one Motoko uses (a P90, to be exact), added a simple belt, fixed the bodice/corset, and re-did my data ports! It's still not finished, tho. I still have to re-dye the wig (the color's not accurate...even though I like the way it is now v_v), re-make the belt and gloves, and add makeup to the ports so they blend with my skin better.
Sorry I don't have any big pictures of the new ports... but I can assure you that they look waaaaay better than the old ones...

It's strange... sometimes it seems like Motoko is simultaneously just like me and the opposite of me. She's beautiful and she knows it, but she doesn't deliberately flaunt it at all. Very confident of herself, yet she has all these misgivings about her own humanity...
