PULsE: Hana - The Bassist

This is a character in a manga/story idea I've had for a while now. She's the bassist in the fictional Japanese Visual Kei band "PULsE". Her name Hana, is translated as "flower" in this context (though it could mean "nose", too, but I digress).

こちらは、私の漫画のキャラクターです。虚構ビジュアルケイのバンドのベース走者です。名前は、「花」です。

I designed her with a rough, punk look (like my friend Ashley [link] occasionally sports) and a rather sarcastic, but lovable personality, like my friend Renee.

I've received some great critique on this design (i.e. different opinions about the shoes), and I'd love to hear yours!

And yes, I know her right hand is totally screwed up. >_< I really need to start using references.
