The 80's That Didn't Die

This full outfit just... appeared to me when I was falling asleep one night. It happens more often than you'd think. As with the Gothic Coat, this design is derivative enough of what's already on the runways that I feel safe posting it here.

I imagined it on a short, full-figured-and-healthy model with red hair. In other words, high fashion for a real person.

The coat is a peach silk chirimen (lightly crinkled japanese fabric), fully lined with pearly white satin. Yes, it has big shoulder pads, a design element I've loathed until recently. xD

Off-white poplin blouse, with shirring, a tailored "Art Deco" jabot, and venice lace cuffs.

Pearly satin high-waisted shorts with asymmetrical gold button closure.

And white opaque tights and white leather booties.

Colored with Crayola colored pencils.
